What data we collect
If you use Veta to download data from a third-party provider, personal information may be required to sign into the provider. For example, account ID, username, or password. Passwords are stored temporarily, securely, and discarded after use. Passwords are transmitted only to the third-party for the purpose of downloading data.
Non-personally identifiable information may be collected and stored on the computer or transmitted to Microsoft Visual Studio App Center. This information is used to better understand what features are used and to diagnose issues with the software. You can opt-in or opt-out of this feature when Veta is started the first time or via the Options in Veta.
