Guimarães, Portugal – September 6 to 9, 2022

Trends on Construction in the Post-Digital Era

 Abstract submission up to October 15th 2021

ISIC (www.IS-IC.org) was renamed in 2019 from the International Intelligent Construction Technologies Group (IICTG), launched in Guimarães, Portugal, during the 3rd International Conference of Transportation Geotechnics, in 2016.

ISIC 2022 is the third ISIC international conference, following the first conference in Minnesota, USA, in 2017 and the second conference in Beijing, China, in 2019.

We will take a holistic approach to integrate civil engineering, construction machinery, electronic sensor technology, survey/testing technologies, information technology/computing, and other related fields. While the world is in the digital era, it is our vision to take a step forward by addressing societal issues and improving the wellbeing of people in their physical environments.

Full-length papers submitted to the conference and accepted after a rigorous peer-review process will be included in the Conference Proceedings published by Springer Series Lecture Notes in Civil Engineering and further submitted for indexing by Scopus and Web of Science.

In addition, authors may be also invited to submit full-length papers for special issues of Springer’s Architecture, Structures and Construction journal, Elsevier’s Transportation Engineering: Special Issue on Advances in Electrified Transportation Systems, and Elsevier’s Automation in Construction Journal.
