FREE Intelligent Construction Workshop at RMACES Conference

FREE Intelligent Construction Technologies (ICT) for Asphalt Paving Workshop will be offered at the 52nd Annual Rocky Mountain Asphalt Conference & Equipment Show (RMACES) Conference from 8AM to noon, mountain time, on Thursday, February 20, 2025. The workshop location is at Marriott Denver Tech Center (4900 S Syracuse St, Denver, CO 80237), Room Iris, Blue Bell, or Lupine. This workshop is sponsored by FHWA Project HIF230086PR “Develop Informational Materials NDT Intelligent Construction Technologies for Asphalt Pavement during Construction”.

The objectives of this workshop are: Share ICT implementation strategies to improve quality, safety, asset management/performance, and to reduce costs; Overview of non-destructive testing and intelligent construction technologies for asphalt paving; Summarize Paver-mounted Thermal Profiles (PMTP), Intelligent Compaction (IC), Dielectric Profile System (DPS), and Veta ICT data management software: capabilities, shortfalls, and appropriate usage. Please download the flyer for detailed information.

Contractors, FHWA and DOT agencies, consultants, and academics who are interested in implementing ICT on asphalt paving projects to improve the construction quality are strongly encouraged to attend this informative workshop.

We are excited to announce that early-bird registration is now extended to July 31, 2024, for the 4th International Society for Intelligent Construction (ISIC) International Conference. The conference will be held in Orlando, Florida, USA, from September 10 to 12, 2024. 

The International Society for Intelligent Construction (ISIC) is a source of knowledge and information on intelligent construction technologies for public agencies, contractors, consultants, academia, and other relevant industries.

ISIC provides a forum for disseminating knowledge concerning collecting, analyzing, and applying information relating to intelligent construction technologies (ICT) for infrastructure. ICT is a combination of modern science and innovative construction technologies. The mission of ISIC is to promote the applications of ICT to the life-cycle of infrastructure: from the survey, design, construction, operation, and maintenance/rehabilitation by adapting to changes in environments and minimizing risks. The goals of its mission are to improve the quality of construction, cost-saving, and safety.
