An IC session was conducted at the New Mexico Paving and Transportation Conference in Albuquerque, NM on Jan. 4, 2016. The speakers include: Dr. George Chang (Transtec Group), Dennis Kelly (SITECH/Trimble), Shawn Hammer (Fisher Industry) and Dana Gililland (NMDOT). All presentation will be posted by the conference in the near future.

An IC session was conducted at the Arizona Pavements/Materials Conference in Tempe, Arizona on Nov. 18, 2015. The speakers include: Dr. George Chang (Transtec Group), Bryan Downing (Caterpillar), Try Billingsley (Fisher Industry) and Nye McCarly (AZDOT). All presentation will be posted by the conference in the near future.

An IC session was conducted at the Alaska Asphalt Summit in Anchorage, AK on Nov. 10, 2015. The speakers include Dr. George Chang (Transtec Group), Mark Eckert (Volvo), Tim Kowalski (Hamm/Wirtgen Group), Steven Ryan (Caterpillar), Nelson Jays (Accupoint- Trimble), and Jim Preston (TOPCON). All presentation will be posted by AKDOT in the near future.

An Intelligent Compaction (IC) workshop will be held during the 9th ICPT Conference in Dalian, Liaoning, China, August 10, 2015. The workshop speakers include: Dr. George Chang of Transtec Group. Prof. Xu Guanghui of Southwest Jiaotong University, and Mr. Henry Liu of Caterpillar.  Here is the workshop agenda in English and Chinese.

Please note that the above survey is more than 14 months old with only 2 responds (Alaska and Vermont) out of current 24+ agencies that have already implemented IC.  Please refer to the IC spec page for the list of FHWA, AASHTO, Federal Lands, and DOTs that have developed IC specifications.
